My Story
Hello!
My name is Enaam Alruwaidhi, and I am passionate about transforming the media landscape. With my experience and skills, I aim to innovate and enhance media in my home country, Oman.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA, where I majored in Journalism and Media Communication and minored in Studio Art.
My educational background complemented by a minor in Studio Art, equips me with a diverse skill set and a creative approach to storytelling. This comprehensive education enables me to bring innovative ideas and effective communication strategies to the media landscape in my home country. With these tools, I am well-prepared to drive positive change and elevate the quality and impact of media in Oman.
During my academic years abroad, I undertook various internships across all media fields in the USA. This hands-on experience exposed me to the fast-paced, cutting-edge media environment in America, which is characterized by its diversity, technological advancement, and innovative approaches to storytelling.
In contrast, the media landscape in Oman is still developing, with a strong focus on traditional forms of media. My exposure to the dynamic media practices in the USA allows me to bring fresh perspectives and modern techniques to the Omani market. By integrating these advanced methodologies and creative strategies, I aim to contribute to the evolution and improvement of media in Oman, making it more engaging and impactful for local audiences.
My Goal
My goal is to empower Omani women and Arab Muslim women by transforming the media landscape in Oman. As an Omani woman, I am deeply passionate about showcasing the strength, resilience, and success of Omani women to the world.
I aim to integrate cutting-edge American technologies and techniques with a deep commitment to Omani traditions, fostering a media environment that is both dynamic and respectful. By amplifying the voices of Arab nations, I strive to bridge cultural gaps and ensure our stories are heard and resonate powerfully in the Western world.
Through this unique blend of innovation and tradition, I seek to highlight the unique perspectives of Arab women, celebrating their achievements and promoting a more inclusive and informed global narrative. By doing so, I hope to inspire a new generation of women and men, and contribute to the peaceful evolution of media in Oman and beyond.
